History

HFS has been in the business of training pilots for over 40 years, since 1975.

We are ideally located at the Sarnia Chris Hadfield International Airport (CYZR) along the shores of beautiful Lake Huron. The airspace immediately surrounding the airport is not congested, allowing for intensive pilot training with minimum time wasted waiting for departures and landings, lending itself to lower training costs.

Busier controlled airspace is less than a half-hour flight away, ideal for advanced training when our students are ready.
